Unreasonable Creativity

Pilot

Hi, I'm Mark.

For the past fifteen years, I've worked in senior leadership roles at some of the world's most prolific creative agencies in London and New York, advising the biggest brands on their business-critical challenges.

I'm starting this regular communication - let's call it a digital (or email) digest - to revisit my career with a different lens. Mainly because over the years I've seen some flaws in the system. I'm a self confessed Geriatric Millennial who's gone from Analogue tools to Digital and now Generative AI. But, also someone who witnessed the changes in the corporate workplace from the 80s to today. I'm using this outlet to reimagine things, using today's tools.

You know, everything new, shiny and techy like ChatGPT and Midjourney. And some much more complex and difficult things like compassion, empathy and consideration of a positive work environment. Oh, and I'll also be talking a lot, about how we all talk. And why we must do better.

So maybe this is a series about how AI can help us at work? Perhaps it's a bulletin about how to tell your business story in a way that makes people want to listen? Or it could be a Public Service Announcement to those in charge of the future workplace. But, if you know me, there’s a high possibility it looks like that on the outside and is about something much more important. As my daughter says when told no more candy, "Maybe see'...

But it's definitely not a newsletter, I'll keep my news to myself 😉

My bigger intention? To build a resource for people doing the best serious creative work in the business world.

I'd love for you to sign up. Season 01 drops during the run up to the end of the year. Twelve episodes, because twelve is festive. Primed for your commutes or coffee breaks. I'll be experimenting with format and length, but please hop on now, there'll be some super important things in there right off the bat.
